IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT AFLAC CONTINUATION DURING SUMMER BREAK

With summer break less than a week away, you may be wondering how your Aflac policy will be paid June, July, and August. In year’s past, we have asked you to continue payments directly to Aflac with monthly credit card or bank drafts. However, that presents the risk of a missed payment, which could cause your policy to be cancelled.

This year we are introducing a new way to keep you covered: Your Aflac deductions will stop in June and start again in September. You will still be covered during the summer. The deduction period will now be 9 months instead of 12. The weekly deductions will be calculated by dividing your annual premium by 36 weekly deductions from September through May. Starting in September 2022, your weekly premiums will be slightly higher, but you will not be paying premiums during the three summer months, when income is at its lowest.
